Adhesive labels, temperature indicators proposed by JRI allow closer monitoring of thermo-sensitive products. Temperature-sensitive labels are used to verify the integrity of the monitored product immediately during transportation or storage.

A non-toxic chemical agent is contained in the blister label and reacts when temperature is changing. After activation, the dye is spreading on the conductive support that changes color unambiguously and irreversibly when exposed to a critical temperature. The Freeze Indicator does not require manual activation but uses the same method of color migration.

Some models also inform the exposure time at a temperature not tolerated, as the Time/Temperature integrator or the BloodTemp 10.
